The world of cycling at the top level is very ambitious. Cyclists at this level seek out something that will provide them with any millisecond associated with an advantage over their opponents. The incentives regarding winning are so worthwhile that elite level bike riders go to extraordinary extent to obtain that benefit. This will sadly mean that these people do the illegal along with the legal processes to get that advantage they so anxiously want.
