Chilblains

Chilblains are an annoying painful problem that develops on the toes of those prone to them in colder climates. Chilblains can also affect the fingers, nose and ears as they are also exposed to the cold, but the foot is the most common site. The cold is not really the true cause of chilblains, but the real cause is how the microcirculation responds to the change in temperature from colder to warmer.
